ANNADAY HISER
The process of making transforms my consciousness. My work has shown a steady rhythm, oscillating between photo-based impressions from my personal archive and painterly abstractions. This integration of various materials finally produces a tactile three-dimensional piece. Each work is as much about a self-search as it is about the complex discovery that comes from creating it.

The palette is muted, yet among the subtle variations of black, grey and brown are stains of many colors. My work asks questions of identity. It is a vessel that translates my interior observations into a language of form rather then words.
